PABLO PICASSO

Three Musicians

Museum of Modern Art -New York

1881-PRESENT

Picasso is a painter, sculptor and engraver of Spanish origin and French nationality who has become the most famous artist of the 20th Century. At age 20, his works were being displayed and he went on at a soaring pace to become the founder of Cubism which caused the greatest art revolution since the Renaissance. No one else has bombarded the art world with so many defiances of forms and no other artist has produced such a varied and powerful body of work.
